Positive outcome from stop and search

 At around 05:12 hours on the 04/08/2025 a 24 year old male was stop and searched on Bishopton avenue in Stockton by one of our neighbourhood officers whilst on patrol and was found to be in possession of a large razor blade. The male was arrested and charged for possession of a knife blade / sharply pointed article in a public place.

He was remanded into custody and on the 05/08/2025 attended Cleveland magistrates court where he was sentenced to 21 weeks in prison and given a fine to pay.
