Local Priorities Drug dealing Message

Dear Resident,

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Drug dealing, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

After numerous complaints about drug dealing and drug related anti-social behaviour, Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police Team and Hartlepool Proactive Team executed two Sec 23 Misuse of Drugs Act warrants at addresses in Thornton Street and Dent Street. We are working in partnership with Hartlepool Community Safety Team and private landlords in relation to the addresses. We would like to thank those residents who supported our efforts to make your community safe. We encourage anyone to report any suspicious activity, which will treated in the strictest of confidence. This can be done via 101 or the COPA App online reporting platform. We will continue to act proactively on your behalf to challenge the behaviour in your local area.
